This front door is Butternut of uncertain origin. It’s from somewhere in the northeastern U.S. The tree trunk is Black Walnut and all those leaves I carved out of Black Cherry. It is 7’2” high, 40″ wide and 1-1/4″ thick. There is 1/2″ of rigid foam insulation sandwiched between the skins.The airbrushing is by Robin Muir.
