This is a staircase I did in collaboration with Greg Jackmauh of Reconstructions Inc, and Doug Gimler of Gimler Construction.  It is White Oak, quartersawn everywhere except the risers, and Yellow Birch treads.  Tablelegs.com did all the turnings.  I made the raised panel wainscoting where we could not reclaim it from the old staircase, and repurposed what could be saved.  I also made all the handrails, including easements, all the trim, and installed the treads, risers, balusters and handrails.  I did all the finish work using custom mixed colors from Vermont Natural Coatings.
